G)When Mitochondria breaks down Glucose to Carbon Dioxide they make stored enrgy available  to cells. Then the energy is stored in bonds of other molecules so it can be accessed easily when the energy is needed.

H)There are three major types of biological macromolecules in mammalian systems.
  1. Carbohydrates
  2. Nucleic acids
  3. Proteins

Often they are treated separately in different segments of a course. In fact, the principles governing the organization of three-dimensional structure are common to all of them, so we will consider them together

I)ATP is produced in the chloroplast by Chemiosmosis.Chemiosmosis in mithondria
  1. Overall process= Formation of ATP during the ETS of aerobic respiration as the result of a pH gradient across the membrane of the cristae
  2. Steps in the process
      1. H+ from the matrix are pumped into space between the cristae and the outer membrane.
      2. H+gradient develops between the inside and outside of the cristae.
      3. This pH diferential creates free energy
      4. H+ pass back across the membrane through F1
      5. Oz is the final Hydrogen/ electron acceptor producing H2O
